Nasdaq Thoughts... ************************** William: We've seen a very bullish Runaway Gap on 3/13 followed by a very bullish Island Reversal on 4/1... We now have the potential for a bearish Island Reversal within the next two trading sessions or another break away to the upside... bigcharts.marketwatch.com The longer term chart shows the beginnings of an uptrend starting from the October lows and buoyed by the Feb/March double bottom... bigcharts.marketwatch.com We need to see a close above the 1425 area to give more credibility to the uptrend from the October lows... The next tests would be at the 1449 and 1521 levels... A failure to close above 1425 in the next few days could send the Nasdaq down to the 1336 level... What happens in Iraq will dictate which way it goes... Jim
