NGW-- If its okay to admit one's deficiencies, I'll confess to having a prodigous reserve of ignorance. Nowhere is this more obvious than in areas related to electronics, and momentum investing. Occassionally I will catch a glimmer of understanding, or assimilate enough information to perceive value. And this leads us into Blue Lasers. There is a race underway to develop the first industrially feasable unit, from a variety of r and d programs. The winner stands to reap bountiful rewards, and the leader (last time I checked) is the small Japanese firm, Nochia. A number of public companies are still huffin' and puffin' up the backstretch, entities like 3M, Westinghouse, and Cree Research. The Cree thread (semis) is mostly about blue lasers, so if I can point you in that direction... Regards, TBG Paul
