Jim, yes the war is driving the markets, hour by hour. Once they declare we have "won" then the hard part comes.
How that will be sold to the public is anyones guess.
Then you have to deal with N.Korea and all the other hot spots. Indexes could go either way, and probably will.

It now looks like the market is looking beyond the official declaration of Iraqi surrender and is focusing on the difficult reconstruction period and pockets of terrorists and homicide bombers... And yes, the French, Germans, and Russians trying to elbow their war into lucrative oil contracts... The Security Council Veto potential of France and Russia could get in the way of opening the oil spigots...

The Nasdaq is now below its 13 day MA... MACD, DMI, and Williams %R have negative crossovers... A close below the 1351 area would set up a test of the 1336 area...
