Dumb Labels
The Michigan Lawsuit Abuse Watch keeps track of dumb warning labels. Here is a selection from its sixth annual list which highlights the lengths manufacturers think they have to go to to avoid frivolous lawsuits.

The winner for Dumbest Warning was on an electric massage chair: "Do not use massage chair without clothing. Never force any body part into the backrest while the rollers are moving!"

The second place label warned not to use a snow blower on the roof.

In third place was a label warning not to allow children to play in a dishwasher.

Other dumb warning labels:
"Do not take if allergic to aspirin." (on a bottle of aspirin)
"Caution: remove aluminum wrapper from suppository before insertion." (on a package of suppositories)
"Warning: not for infants." (on a bottle of vodka)
"Do not use for drying pets." (microwave oven)
