Yes, of course. I was trying to get the gentleman to accept at least that "inflation=price increases". I was hoping to get to the finer points later on.

Anyway, reading the stuff he quoted IN FULL from the site, I see that it is not saying "inflation is not price increases" at all:

Thanks for the detailed clarifications, although they were probably lost on some of us who to this day were oblivious to what inflation is.

If you recall, this is where we started this unfortunate waste of time:

LLCF:....I think I misspoke when I said 'inflation' with falling demand. I should have said: 'rising prices with falling demand'

It turns out, it was just LLCF's misunderstanding of what these "Austrians" say. They never said anything about rising prices NOT being inflation. They just wanted to look further back in the chain of causality to increased liquidity, as the "essence" of inflation.
