Yes. I live in a house valued in California Dollars so I'm quite sensitive to foreign exchange issues ($USD = 0.28 California Real Estate Dollar). If Babylon falls the great real estate Ponzi scam will unravel and may even reverse. I am reminded of the auto workers in the 1970s who were trapped in the midwest by the industry's move overseas. They could not unload their houses in Michigan to find employment (and housing) in California or anywhere else that had a reasonably robust economy.
