I just refinanced into a 15 year note. I locked rates on June 16. Same lender, same loan would cost me an extra 1/8 point to get a 1.125% higher rate six weeks later. Timed the loan almost perfect, but I missed a bet not taking Jim's advice on the Juno fund.
