TO ALL: I AM NOW STARTING A NEW THREAD, DEDICATED SOLELY TO CALIFORNIA PROPERTY TAX ISSUES, PROP 13 AND THE CALIFORNIA RECALL ELECTIONS. Subject 54222 Please direct discussion of these issues here. This thread has wandered a bit from its original intent, to discuss issues effecting the residential real estate market nationwide (yes, I know it's a collection of local markets of which California constitutes an important part).
