Since I pay through the nose to live in California I expect my commute to be reasonable. If you don't like it here, the roads leaving California are open every day. And the planes are flying. No one will make you stay. I expect the roads to be paved and the trains like Caltrain to work. Fine. If private funds pay for it, fine. Using tax money to run 90% busses and trains around spewing pollution is another matter. And they are pretty empty. Every day around 5 o'clock I see light rail go by. Mostly empty. At 5 o'clock. Burning those tax dollars you love to contribute. Do you mind if I ask you whether you are employed? Yes. In Silicon Valley. As an engineer. Where is my money going? And not a train engineer. Maybe you should look at them to see where you're money is going. I never favored allowing road construction funds to support your empty busses and trains. I've always opposed it. If they can't pay for themselves, they can die. Maybe you ought to take a look at them as a possible sink for your money. services that the elderly vote for but don't pay for. Are you in favor of deporting them or just gassing them?
