Well, the stock certainly has had legs (up 41% this week, almost a quintuple since May, and near its 52 week high). Most other biotech companies that I'm familiar with have been doing what they almost always do: absolutely nothing or worse. A logical conclusion would be that the financing pact may be driving a technology which may actually have a real payoff. And if the Merck rumor has some validity, the stock would really go crazy. No predictions, just a lot of confidence (and I've put my money where my mouth is). Its surprising that, with such a strong performance, and with every indication that the pattern will continue, we haven't had more visitors here.
