Technology keeps advancing. A few years ago, to call the police you had to look up the number and dial 7 digits to have a stenographer write down your information. The more recent 911 systems require only 3 digits to connect to the police and have your call recorded automaticly. Now with the Patriot Act you don't even have to dial. TP
