Doesn't seem to be holding down prices much. Geez, just think how much properties in New York would cost if it were done the "right way". Message 19496405 marginmike wasn't making a point about the prices of NYC real estate, he was referring to brokerages limiting access ...having to seek "different brokers for different listings" if that is the case it sounds more like a system which is highly balkanized, rather than a oligopoly. bad for the buyer, bad for seller
