John Pendergast, Have you ever tried to analyze Sparticus as a propaganda film that had a lot of input from psyops units at the CIA and Department of Death? It's an interesting experiment. Try it some time. The evil Ruskies were Rome. The noble slaves that Sparticus led were the Americans. We were the underdogs, but noble and "free". It was a wonderful myth. It had nothing to do with reality. There's more, if you are interested in how the U.S. government uses "psyops" (i.e. psychological operations) against its own population. Inquiries welcomed.
