I think you are right about UPS losing some business but I think it will be MUCH less than predicted here on this thread. The only part of UPS business that I think you will see a noticable drop in is the overnight letter which fedex already has a stranglehold on. I do not believe you will see prices rise for standard shipped parcels. UPS has a 4.5 billion dollar credit line....although this strike will hurt them short term, I don't think anybody in UPS's front office is sweating..
