I think folks will go back to using UPS once the strike is over and forget the other carriers. Here's why:

1)Service
2)Cost
3)Reliability

The biggest factor to most businesses is cost followed by service and reliability. The other carriers cannot keep up with the demand. We had to go to FEDEX and get out packages yesterday (the COD ones) because we were informed that only non-COD would be delivered.

We made a special trip to FEDEX only to find out that they decided to deliver the COD packages (that had been stored there for a week).

Now, that's service!
