Paul: I think I know why more people aren't posting here...you guys are so clever, funny and entertaining. I, for example, would have difficulty competing with this crowd. My shining moment of glory was my stock guru poem which truly came from my heart. But other than that, I'm sort of a plain vanilla envelope...and somewhat literarily challenged. It's great to read your babble and attempt to extract the gems of info that are hopefully embedded therein.

RE your comments on the market. I worked the momentum system for the last two years, and now I'm getting too nervous and gun-shy. Buying on the dips since April has been a disaster. I'm really not willing to chase this dog any more.

I want to spend as much time as possible now getting a shopping list ready. This seems a great opportunity to do a lot or research and studying. I feel the need to have a stable of stocks (a certain % of our portfolio) which I can buy on good fundamentals and hold for the long run...but is now the time? I'll continue to play some of the momentum stocks if the market seems right down the road.

GOOFI stocks are those that are "out of favor"...might this stock
be considered a GOOFI candidate? CPX, Cineplex Odeon has tanked over two years, based, and is trying to turn around...it hit low of $1...trading now at 1.875. CEO just bought 500,000 shares in April. Charles Bronfman family of Canada owns 22%.

I'm looking for good ideas, and help on when to implement them!
