OK, I'll add a few things.

I believe we saw around 38% margins due to several things. Custom modem margins probably increase towards the end of their cycles since at the first there are initial R/D expenses, manufacturing setup expenses and component price variations for various reasons through the cycle. Let's say they got an order for the exact PCMCIA modem they were building for TI at one time - many of the initial details would have already been taken care of and they may have had some leftover materials from the last run.

DGN: they've trained "half a dozen" district offices and "several times that many" regional offices in product sales.

SDS: 5 installs were mentioned and perhaps 100 sales calls have been made.
(Note: this is not to imply that they only got 5 of the 100, just at present)

The preferred have converted over 50% of their initial investment.

No one appears to be having any luck finding out how many of the Axelrod shares remain but it was mentioned that from an MM activity report for the June + July timeframe Paine-Webber handled over 600K shares. Remember they weren't even registed as an MM until after Axelrod appointed them as the brokerage to handle the shares. While this would be a combined figure of everything they've bought, sold or shorted during this timeframe, those that have been watching Level-II activity know darn well they haven't been doing much buying.

More later, there's a lot of good stuff here but I'm going to eat.
