Ericsson was a little more specific in their two releases about a similar capability. We saw these releases a long, long time ago and I can only find evidence that they once existed on their website - the actual releases appear to be gone. Like Ben said in the CC there are some things starting to appear that do interesting things but nothing that could be considered as competition, much less anything like the product. They also have "ears" out in the field and no signs of anything starting in development has shown up yet either. Let's see, how did he respond to the Ericsson items when I quizzed him about them? First he was going to be very interested in how they're getting any acceptable results dealing with IP as the transport. Considering the way the one you posted would have to work it's liable to be little more than internet telephony through a DSVD modem. Second, he commented that it will be interesting to see if they tripped up any of Data Race's patents. Funny, I thought the Ericsson thing was going to be unveiled a few months ago.
