I too am bullish on ABF. The PE of ~12 is perhaps the lowest of all the carriers. The stock price barely budged after the 50% surprise earnings report a few weeks ago. While I think ABF will benefit nicely from the UPS strike, I think the ground carriers and FDX will benefit more. My estimate (rough) is that ABF is seeing a 20-25% rise in volume because of the strike, while ground carriers (like CNF and ROAD) and FDX are seeing a 40-50% surge in volume (with some small non-public companies seeing as much as a three-fold increase). I haven't yet bought into ABF, although I think I will pretty soon.
