HI Chris,

You just wait a little bit more your tune will change.

Check out my recent post on Cohu - it has a link to Amat's analyst webcast.

Click on section 8 question and answers - Dram Capex is already in and flash/logic are ongoing.

Then recall Intt webcast where you pointed out the reference to Cohu and their lack of performance.

As the Intest executive stated - many of the poor quarters are the result of product mix.

I think this is Cohu's problem. On the dark side - margins are low on new "Edge "testhandler.

On the bright side - these are new customers and represent market share growth. In the long run it is a good thing to grow market share.

Cohu has given up making gravity feed testhandlers - commodity like margins and chips of the future will migrate to pick and place with Active Thermal Control becoming a "Need to have" testhandler capability.

Thes are long term trends - Cohu will prevail as the leader it has been for 15-20 years now.

As long as they continue to get Intel's Supplier Award (3 years in a row now),they will be at the leading edge.No doubt Intel has been /is several years ahead of competition.

That's why I think it is appropriate to give Cohu time.

Through patience the rest of us outsiders will recognize that Cohu is the testhandler of the future.

Valuations will reward us - but patience is the biggest requirement.

Nothin but UP Buddy!!

If you're short - Get Long!!

If you're Long - Get More !!
