Perhaps the cycle is just beginning, but then again, perhaps it has not. To date, GS has called this cycle pretty well spot on. I think they are simply hedging until they get some better visibility. Perhaps not a bad strategy given current valuations. Personally, I find no compelling reason to add to positions at these levels and am waiting a bit.
