Vanilla Judy-- I've been thinking about your idea of holding off a bit. Watching the market, making a wish list: this looks suspiciously like something I've read about... patience. Is it possible? Way back in the dark ages of GOOFS early days I posted something about creating a CHIMPS-First Portfolio. That's Core Holdings In Mundane Places, and the idea is to build a portfolio (slowly, in out of favor sectors) that includes all the dull but essential industries. I still like the concept, but frankly the GOOFI response was lukewarm. Okay, it was totally ignored, but that's lukewarm the way I figure it. At least no one felt obligated to call me goofy. Now what I'm thinking is sort of like the "Way Out Of Favor" (WOOF?) Industry of the month club. Whatcha think? TBG Paul
