Yes. If we're still talking about SGI (I'm finding it more difficult to track the conversations), I suspect a patient stock-picker will find a dandy bargain here. If it isn't SGI, then yes. I suspect a patient stock-picker will find a dandy bargain here. Subject to being convinced I'm wrong, it appears to me that MANY stocks experience a a similar pattern that takes about five years to run its course. For about three years the price will climb as news/numbers get continually better. Then we'll experience a two-year drop (either sharp or gradual) as news worsens and buy-at-the-toppers give up hope. Sooner or later news gets a little better and theres an equalibrium between buyers and sellers. After this basing period, the stock starts to rise once more. Choosing the real base is the hard part.
