Employers are not required by law to do anything about health insurance. Theres someting called "Medicare" which a person pays out of his/her taxes : 1.5% of annual wages. It gives you the ability to be teated by a doc in hospitals/clinics etc as scheduled. If one does not like the 'public sector scheduling', one takes out Private Insurance (claimable on taxes), to have best choice & timing.
