Interesting price action in the new year. I would have thought that we would have been seeing some price appreciation. Maybe people are waiting to buy back in for some good news but I would have thought that some wouldn't be taking the chance and be buying back in early(or maybe their wasn't as much tax loss selling at the end of last year as I thought). For those with conspiracy on their minds, the mm could be playing games trying to knock the price down to be able to cover their short positions(especially if they are naked short positions). If the earlier post about the sec and donaldson is true, maybe some of the malaise with some of the stocks is related to trying to cover short positions at a slightly better price than year end prices.
