Our Vision

To be the undisputed world leader in nonvolatile SRAM products and technology, delivering exciting products to the market which continue to outpace the
competition.

Our Company

Headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Simtek Corporation was born in 1987. Dr. Richard Petritz, founder of memory companies Inmos and Mostek,
formed Simtek along with Dr. Gary Derbenwick. Strategic alliances have allowed Simtek to reduce capital requirements, as well as having access to
leading-edge facilities. Currently, Simtek subcontracts all phases of the manufacturing process.

Our Products

Simtek has taken the most desired features of volatile and nonvolatile memory, and combined them into a single chip: the nvSRAM.

The nvSRAM combines static random access memory (SRAM) and electrically erasable programmable read-only memory (EEPROM) in a shadow memory
configuration. Within each SRAM cell is an additional EEPROM cell, which can be read directly to (or written from) the external data pins, in a manner
identical to conventional SRAM operation.

Achieving Standard Military Drawings from the government, Simtek's nvSRAMs answer the needs of high end military systems, as well as meeting cost
requirements to be the ideal solution for volume commercial products. A sampling of applications ideal for Simtek's family of nvSRAM products include:
cellular telephones, high density hard disk drives, modems, smart utility meters, home and commercial security systems, instrumentation and numerous
military systems including communications, radar, sonar and smart weapons.

Using Simtek's proprietary NOVCEL(TM) technology, Simtek's 256 kilobit nvSRAM product family has sixteen times the density of its closest competitive
single-chip NVRAM. With access times to 20 nanoseconds, Simtek's nvSRAMs perform as quickly as industry standard SRAMs.

Our Future

NOVCEL(TM) technology offers Simtek the path to even higher densities (1Meg and beyond) and submicron die sizes. This path provides accelerated
product development, cost reduction, and a baseline for products combining logic, RAM and NOVCEL(TM) based memory on the same chip.

Simtek will continue to pursue strategic alliances in all aspects of business.
