Wading into the fray... Marcos, Liked your story... I probably have some comparable "canoe" stories... but don't have time to share them today... Also a good helicopter story in which I was almost tossed off of a wildly terrified horse by an army chopper that decided that I would make a good target for "buzzing" exercises.... Funny eh??... ;-} On PC... Interesting topic that one... During the course of my rather indepth wanderings through literary criticism and discourse analysis... the narrative genre of the "joke" has always seemed to stand apart from all other literary forms as a place where all "sensitivities" must be abandoned.... To my knowledge, a suitable "offensiveness barometer" is yet to be invented... particularly one that is so universal that it will work across all platforms... be they related to race, gender, class or any other area or classification...
