carpe{no joke}- i have an uncle that wears those white shoes- that he is proud to have purchased at florsheim's in NYC probably 3 decades ago- since we cannot control even our appearances- and even if we did tell them that their taste is bad, surely the only ones who would suffer ultimately would be US. {i am sure that there are 100s of old guys that love those shoes- i certainly don't wanna lose the relationship due to poor taste based on my opinions- and i certainly would think my adamantly telling him.. "the shoes are disgraceful"- he would think that i am the one with poor taste... taxi no joke
