"Reincarnation was also a belief of early Christians."

No it wasn't.

"Similarly, the Resurrection was originally construed by Christians to be a spiritual rather than a physical event."

Wrong again where are you getting your information? Second century Gnosticism was a late development. It can hardly be called "early Christianity"

"The early Christian writings"

You are using that term way too loosely. Marcion did not go to Rome until 144 A.D. which is almost a hundred years after Paul wrote his first letter to the Corinthians, in which he argued strongly in favor of the necessity of a literal, physical resurrection. Origen of Alexandria (185 - 254 A.D.) Did not, as you can see by his dates come into prominence until more than two hundred years after Christianity was founded. Origen was heavily influenced by Platonic philosophy and interpreted the bible in light of that. But again when was that? Very much after Christianity was already established by Christ and the Apostles.
