During the 1972 Arab oil embargo a fellow could no longer endure the wait to purchase gasoline and so bought a camel on which to commute. One day on his way to work someone in a convertible stopped and asked him if the camel was male or female. He replied 'Oh it must be a male'. The driver of the convertible asked what do you mean 'it must be a male'. The camel rider replied that he knew it was a male because every day on his way to work many people would slow then shout 'Look at the prick on that camel'.
