Doug: Yes, but before 196? when TI invented the semiconductor it appeared that the future was really bright for the vacuum tube. I don't presume that there is no killer technology around the corner from semis. Semis will rule until they are deposed. (Is this stupid and obvious, or am I the only skeptic?) Peter
