Yep, I saw the same thing. Sad isn't it? The church I belong to is totally white, and thousands of miles away from all that devastation. Today, I spent 2 hours helping load a van with brand new merchandise to be sent to the victims we don't even know. Dishes, towels, sheets, utensils, pillows, coffee makers and you name it, these items were all there. When I finished my 2 hour shift I was relieved by 4 other members who spent another 2 hour shift and will be relieved again today for another 2 hours. All of that will happen again tomorrow. I am glad I was able to do this and I do it to glorify God. But, I don't expect to get any credit for it from most of the recipients, other than a general thanks. And that's okay! Some folks just don't have it in proper focus...
