re: SU outperformance, my wholely unsubstantiated WAG is that it is a perceived beneficiary of a wider spread between NG and crude, as lower NG prices relative to CL should improve their margins (i'm guessing the degree of improvement is greater than that seen at COS). or else maybe there are takeover rumors, or chart chasers; who knows.
fwiw SU is my third largest position, after VLO and COS.
