I don't understand why you get so defensive whenever this hypothetical is proposed.

You have made yourself clear.

The question I am asking is if you were able to invest in only one at this time, which one and why.

From today, where will $10,000. grow the fastest in a year?

Which of the two are more likely to double or triple in a year or two?

Why is this such a sticky question?

It is what I ask myself on every investment decision.

Surely one of the two is a better bet here.
