Hey I'm beginnig to like this a lot..From Top Cat
FDCD.... Spectacular volume in the latter half of Friday's trading, 1,384,000 shares (over 2 million for the week) and closing strong at $0.28.... with a very short snappy news release just before the close...
Excerpt from the Press Release... "has secured a gaming license from an offshore licensed gaming company......"... "We are well on our way to meeting our stated goal," says Don Ross, President of Flying Disc, "which is to be in business by the end of October."
Two comments about the statements above... First, my understanding is that they are waiting for at least one (if not two) off-shore gaming licences which they have applied for (Dominican Republic is one)... this release suggests that they have secured a third party licence from an offshore licensed gaming company... this tells me that they have formed a joint venture with a company that already has a licence and wants FDCD to provide on-line gaming services... I suspect this is completely separate from their own licence application, thus, much more significant (depending on who the licensed gaming company is - must be more details to follow on this deal...!!!)... and Secondly, "in business by the end of October" spells early success (software ahead of schedule).... this means instant cash flow...
What sets FDCD apart from their competitors or at least makes them as competitive...? FDCD already owns 25% of CyberGlobe which already has significant revenues (over 12 million per year and growing)... CyberGlobe sells off-line lottery tickets through an established 130 person call centre... this business will be brought on-line through FDCD's web site (instant market and sales - superior strategy)... FDCD will offer full-service on-line lottery, bingo, and casino gaming... they have a very credible software team that has apparently created a web site that is more pleasing and interactive than others (thus a competitive edge)... FDCD also apparently has one of the most sophisticated security technology interfaces on the market (others are looking at licencing it from them)... BUT, MORE IMPORTANTLY, on-line gaming is a high rate growth sector... a major US on-line gaming conference is being held in November and will bring much attention to companies like FDCD... and financing, already complete by a non-brokered private placement about a month ago at $0.25....!!!
Are other companies doing this and are they successful...?
There are two good examples that trade publically... Cryptologic (CRYP:OTC) and the Great Canadian Gaming Corp (GCD:VSE)... these companies do exactly what FDCD is getting very close to doing... CRYP has gone from under $1.00 to over $32.00 this year... in fact, in the last several weeks, it has moved from $13.00 (when I first mentioned FDCD) to its current position of $32+1/2... Gread Canadian Gaming Corp. has had a similar but smaller move (now over $7.00 and was $1.10 within the last year)...
I just received an AGM package in the mail.... this is encouraging because everything the company has talked about has come true (which everyone knows hardly ever happens in the stock game)... AGM set for September 30... in my mind, the most significant motion on the Agenda is a name change to "SOFTWARE GAMING Corp."... this paves the way for a more serious promotion of the company to begin... brochures, corporate and product web site identity creation, magazine advertisements (two are planned), literature distribution to brokerages, mutul funds, etc.... !!
One last word... TIMING... I am very impressed with the speed at which this company says it will begin full commercial activity... I expect good trading activity over the next few months as a results of this.... |
