Bill,
I see john beat me to the punch :o)

Here is a link showing the Montanna refinery apparently sitting on the Bow River Pipeline connacheroil.com

and here is a map of the existing pipeline infrastructure in the US and Canada capp.ca

Looks to me as if they will manage to make it all work... Really those Conoco boys weren't too dumb buying all those Gulf Canada Surmount assets... I do agree with you that CLL will take some more time but I disagree that it is as speculative as you assert. I see our PM is ballyhooing the oilsands over at the G8 summit... too bad he's becoming the new Tony Blair wrt to foreign policy in the mideast.. Hope I do not come to regret voting for him...

I find it interesting that Suncor's NG assets are viewed as a positive, COS attempting to buy NG assets as a hedge is viewed favourably... Connacher buying Luke... and the analysts say why ? CLL buys a refinery and analysts are bemused... Gusella probably ticked some folks off along the way, but I think he has vision... anyway...that's my bet..

Put underground sprinklers in my front yard... doing the back yard tomorrow.. simple layout but much bigger... get to play with a trencher.. once I hook up the timer control... it's freedom from watering duty and no more coming back to a dessicated garden and lawn after summer holidays :o)
