These events (should they come to fruition) should re-direct money back into conventional market activity and not constantly drain investment into trusts. Re: energy sector, I would think it will allow more investment capital to flow to other non trust energy plays. I think this was the point of the exercise by this gov't. (net result is also capital gains tax vs. taxmoney escaping via the trust structures).
