The only difference is that you'd rather see the oil money go toward alternative energy instead of into the pockets of the oil barrons and sheiks.

By the way, I'm sure OPEC realizes this as well. They aren't stupid; they are well aware that any effort to keep prices high will encourage the movement toward alternative fuels.
