Korea's leading retail group invests in Vietnam
GS Retail Co., the retail arm of South Korea's GS Group, has recently decided to invest US$30 million in a trade complex located in and industrial park in Vietnam’s southern province of Binh Duong.
The South Korean leading retail group signed a contract on Dec. 13 to lease seven hectares of land in the the My Phuoc III Park with the Binh Duong Industrial Investment and Development Company (Becamex IDC).

The trade complex, which is to be built in two phases, will include hotels, restaurants, offices for lease, retail supermarkets, entertainment parks and a sports area.

Becamex IDC CEO Nguyen Van Hung said his company will work with provincial authorities to create the best possible conditions for foreign investors to operate profitably there as they have previously committed.
