Vietnam recently gained approval to join the WTO, and is expected to gain most favored nation trading status with the US.

I do nonprofit work in Vietnam, and travel there often. I know the people and am very impressed with their level of education, their work ethic, and business skill. I believe Vietnam will be a huge investment opportunity for years to come.

I started looking for a vehicle in which to in invest in Vietnam in early 2005. There are a limited number of investment vehicles at this time, but I expect the choices to expand quickly, soon.

I have been investing in the Vietnam Opportunity Fund (VTOPF) which trades in London, and is up about 50% in 2006.

I am looking for other opportunities and to share ideas.
