I recommend reading the book "Living the Martial Way" by Forrest Morgan. Andre Arlovski trains BJJ at POWMMA in chicago so i've seen his sambo,,,, at this point i'm focused on style cancellation by being a well rounded practicioner vs a one-sided 'my style is the best' mentality.

I focus on Boxing, Muay Thai and Ground Fighting/submissions. Being physically fit is the key, plus consistency over intensity. Train 5 days week vs blowing it out for just 1-2. If you're interested in physical fitness then you must explore CROSSFIT crossfit.com Chuck Lidell is a Crossfit finatic.
