VTOPF nice recovery in London in the early morning hours. The volatility of VTOPF reminds me of LETRX, a Russian fund I owned a few years ago, when it was trading well below 15$US. due to my greed/ ignorance in trading, or whatever, I took my profits off the table way too early. despite the political rhetoric that emanates from some of our ignorant politicians, the world is changing in ways other than chaos; the middle class is evolving in Russia, it is evolving in China, believe or not it is evolving in Iran, & most certainly it will evolve in Viet Nam. growth will not be orderly, probably fragmented, but given time it will occur. most certainly one can play the 'safe' markets stateside but the chances for your success in the market may be overlooked if you neglect investment possibilities beyond our borders. it behooves every investor to look at every scenario that presents itself, but as with all investments, 'due diligence' is advised.
