VSL in undervalued (4 Ratings) 1-Feb-07 11:41 am VSL has probably the third largest network in the world. They made very attractive buys at the downtime at throwaway prices. Reliance wants to build the african network !. VSL already has that network running thru TYCO buyout !. I was involved with US- Asia pacific cable network and cost of building the same was several BILLION Dollors. Let us see who has the network

1. Sprint
2. VZ (thru MCI)
3. AT&T
4. Cable & Wireless (small)
5. Global Crossing
6 Flag Telecom (owned by Reliance Info)
7. VSL

Here is the beauty, ever wonderd how all the outsourcing data, credit card processing, medical transcription, manufacturing data goes to Asia and Americas ?.
Tata owns TCS and lot of other guys like Infosys, satyam, Wipro, etc.. use VSL. Money is in the Enterprise business and not in retail telephony. TATA VSL is targeting that market. As TATA grows into Africa and Europe with Corus business, VSL network will be used heavily. VSL market cap is only $3B. Cost of US-China cable alone was more than $10B. Go figure the valuation !. I think, Ratan Tata will announce the buyback of VSL as he is now free from Corus.
Asia, Africa and Americas will boom in next 10 years and TATA has the worldwide connectivity. VSL is too cheap !. It is a ten bagger stock.

Sentiment : Strong Buy
