Well, as I explained some time ago(*), the one and only lethal threat to the US as a viable, democratic polity, lies in the growing animosity between Anglos/WASPs and Hispanics --nowhere else. Al-quaeda, Bin Laden, ugly Arabs, evil Islamists, etc, make up but a useful distraction, a geopolitical smoke screen, to steer US opinion away from the real danger, namely, Hispanic terrorism resulting from the US's anti-wetback crackdown... The sooner the US government completes the fence along the Mexican border, the sooner Hispanic-run drug cartels will turn into terrorist organizations. And, at that point, the US will find itself mired into a hell of a mess....
