THAI certainly has a long way to go to prove itself (and CAPRI even more so) but it's not a complex process, and so far all indications from the pilot are that it is working just as the lab tests and computer simulations predicted. It's just a matter of time now, and every passing day, week, month is adding to the confidence that the promised benefits will be realized. Once it is proven and accepted this will be good news to all companies holding SAGD-able reserves, as their profit margins stand to increase dramatically as a result of switching to THAI/CAPRI.
