Some extremely interesting developments with respect to shale oil. Shell seems to have developed a very creative and possibly "green" way of extracting oil from shale which is profitable at $30 or more per barrel. The oil we have in shale in the West exceeds all Middle Eastern reserves. Commercial production in less than a decade??? Wouldn't it be nice to kiss the crazy Middle East goodbye?
