Crony,

They reaffirmed their guidance this past week at the conference they presented at as well as with their announcement for ringing the closing bell for the nasdaq. I don't think the low guidance came from the company. I think there has been a slowdown in some of the memory semi product revenues with erosion of asps so it could just be one analyst being conservative about where they think the market will go. The company was pretty positive at the aea meeting this past week.

If I had listened to analysts, I wouldn't have held onto a good chunk of my Apple stock which I have had since Jobs has come back to the company. I tend to buy and hold long term and give things a chance to play out. Too much patience with Simtek? Maybe. Time will tell but I think the present management team gives the best chance to grow the company and the company is finally seeming to be positioned well for growth. Wishful thinking? Maybe. But if you look at how they have grown the company in the past 2 years, you can tell this is finally a serious team with the chops to back up the predictions. The question remains-can they do it? Can they get Simtek to the next level. I am willing to give them some more time. So far, they have done a good job.

JMO though.

Neal
