You know i love you Hawk but i am thinking that the conventional thinking we used just doesnt work in the arab world. I hate to sound racist but i think we serve as a lightening rod for all their failures. Envy and hatred. When we leave they will have to deal in some fashion with each other. My bet is that iran tones it down a notch and that sunnis strike an oil deal with the central govt and then in turn they get some degree of autonomy. I just refuse to get knee jerk fear of some impending regional war coming from this. It may but i doubt it. And i think any deal between sunni and shiaa will be at the expense of al quaeda.
