Last year Discovery Magazine had a digester featured that got #2 oil out of garbage plus 6 valuable by products. They're trying it with turkey guts now. It used 10% of the energy it produced to run on. Yeah.. I remember that story.. Changing World Technologies and their thermal depolymerization process: en.wikipedia.org They set it up next to a Turkey processing plant in the expectation that the plant would pay them to dispose of the guts.. But I seem to recall that their profitability was challenged when the plant started charging them for those guts, since suddenly they had become a profitable resources, rather than an expensive liability. But I can't seem to find a link that story. However, it DOES seem very promising... Hawk
