This isn't analysis, it is a DNC talking point. What actual evidence exists that any longer concentration on Afghanistan would have prevented the mistakes that the US made (most caused by fear of casualties, exacerbated by the left-leaning newsspapers screaming 'Afghanistan death of empires!'), or prevented OBL from finding his new bases in Waziristan, which would have remained off-limits to US troops?
